I worked at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I worked at KFH for over two years. The positives were that comission structure was easy enough to reach. On the whole the culture is good and everyone gets along and most offices have good fun environment.

    Cons

Marketing is dreadful, no employee benefits at all! No proactivity they just react to the market. No understanding of how to motivate employees and cost cutting at every turn, understaffed in many departments making it much harder to focus fully on your main job role.

    Advice to Management

understand staff lots of turn staff turnover especially the higher bankers moving on, be more flexible one contract structure for everyone does not work.

I worked at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward

    Pros

There are no pros working for KFH

    Cons

Don’t believe a word of the recent reviews. They have all been written by senior management trying to promote the company on a recruitment push due to the fact they lose staff quicker than they can hire them. None of what they have written is true. Staff are treated poorly with little or no benefits. Micromanagement within head office and branch makes for a miserable working life. Nothing is done to address the bullying...

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time

    Pros

Given this is my second time working for KFH, in total spanning 12+ years I am well placed to know just what a fantastic company I work for. Here are some of the benefits our front office staff can expect: - Uncapped earning potential! - Industry leading packages! - Terrific incentives, as well as holidays abroad and a fleet of Porsche's for our top achievers! - Great staff, terrific teamwork and morale.

    Cons

I can't think of any, but you must be prepared to graft and work hard!

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I have worked at KFH for 18 years and love my job as much as I did when I first started. I started as a Lettings Negotiator and worked my way up to Regional Lettings Director. At KFH if you work hard you are recognised and rewarded for it. This recognition and reward come in the form of a highly competitive salary, opportunities for career progression, incentive trips (LA, Las Vegas, Verbier, San Francisco, Barcelona,...

      Pros

Very rewarding and I still enjoy working for KFH after working for them for well over a decade.

      Cons

Hours and weekends but that is the industry.

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

I have worked at KFH for three years now, progressing from Sales Negotiator to Sales Assistant Manager in this time. I have been able to progress and earn a decent amount of money, as well going two incentive trips to Miami and Verbier and driving the Porsche. I would add that the company does expect the best out of you and as long as you are prepared to work hard, then you will be fine.

      Cons

      None that I have experienced

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Having come from another agent locally I can confidently say that working for KFH is a much more pleasant and rewarding experience. The amount I have learnt and the staff in the branch has shown me how working for this agency you feel like a cut above the rest on the high street. There is a solid training programme upon joining up, regular incentives including trips and a well established brand to get behind and a...

There have not really been any specific cons I can put. There is definitely a need to commit fully to the role which results in long hours but that is the nature of most sales jobs.

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

I have been working for the company for over 5 years and have climbed the career ladder with KFH from a lettings Negotiator to Lettings Manager. You get good support and guidance from the senior management and on going training. The pay structure is competitive and KFH are known as one of the highest paying companies in the industry. The rewards do not stop at the pay package and you are given a nice company car including...

There isn't many cons. The only downfall is the long hours however you do get back what you put in and the pay reflects this.

I have been working at Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward full-time for more than a year

      Pros

I've worked at KFH for nearly two years and only wish I had made the move sooner. They provide a strong basic salaray with one of the best commission structures offered in agency as well as smart and flexible company vehicle options. The management is excellent from what I have experienced and you are pushed to do the best you can. I feel I've developed so much as an individual and an agent whilst working under the...

      Cons

I honestly don't feel there are any that specifically relate to KFH. Pay, work life balance, promotions, incentives, colleagues, management and the company cars are all great. The negatives are the same as any other when an estate agent, some saturday 's have to be worked, the hours are longer than a 9-5 and your pay is never garunteed to be the same but if agency is the career choice for you KFH is the place to work.
