I have been working at Kinston Medical Specialist, PA (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice hardworking employees and great doctors!

    Cons

Very bad management! The whole office is like being in a mad house and not only for the employees for the patients! Ran very unprofessional! Very underpaid and benefits not as good as they used to be! Office looks very old fashion, tacky, and dirty! A serious change in management could make very positive changes for everyone!

    Advice to Management

Advice for doctors is to get better management in place so your medical office can reach it's full potential!

I have been working at Kinston Medical Specialist, PA (More than a year)

    Pros

Great for hands on nursing, love my patients, work for a great MD and most of the people I work with are awesome!

    Cons

Pay is not so good in light of cuts to benefits. EHR somedays works great, other days not so much. Hard to get support. Also, review for raises is biased and not objective and tiered management is difficult to navigate to get issues addressed. Facility is out dated; design and census cause constant HIPPA issues.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the practice or sell to local mega provider. Have already practiced so long in out dated facility with minimal pay to staff they should have been able to have built a new facility or re-purposed an existing building by now, even with the cuts to medicare/medicaid payouts.
