    Pros

The customers always appreciated my input.

    Cons

Sometimes there was just too much inventory for one person to deal with.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you don't over work your employees. They may begin to feel unappreciated.

I have been working at Kirkland's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The store manager is amazing. She has a great sense of humor but always remains professional. She works with you and your schedule. The employee perks are great, specifically the 20% employee discount. The coworkers are great and the store store always smells good.

    Cons

No cons that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

More advertising to reach a broader customer base. I have spoken with several people that don't even know what Kirkland's is.

    Pros

I like the flexible schedule and the great team spirit to tech company goals.

    Cons

I don't like the pay for the amount of work that they have you to do. It is not enough to live off of and they don't offer full time except through manager position.

I have been working at Kirkland's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The store's product sells itself. Very nice home interior type merchandise. The store is very busy and work days go very fast.

    Cons

Low pay, not enough hours per week makes for a small payroll check. The job can become somewhat physical, as most employees are scheduled to unload the truck 2 days per week and break down the boxes of merchandise. All employees are expected to walk or stand the entire shift, with no breaks for employees working less than 6 hours.

    Advice to Management

Management has been tremendously supportive and easy to get along with.

    I have been working at Kirkland's part-time

    Pros

Very customer friendly oriented, you don't have to have a sales goal. Busy so time goes by fast. Great discount. Great friendly employees

    Cons

Climbing high ladders to stock merch. Opening a lot of boxes, getting covered in glitter and must be able to lift big mirrors.

    Advice to Management

None, my manager is awesome - after every shift she thanks me which makes me feel valued and important. I love this job.
