Top Review Highlights by Sentiment
- "The manager gets coached and instructed by HQ on how to set up and build a file on the person,(this is very detailed, with the manager getting specific instructions with bullet points, language, specific tasks with deadlines and times etc) in crazy emails and 'feedback' starts, to make the person either leave or have a justification to fire them." (in 4 reviews)
- "zero training and professional development opportunities outside of what's necessary to do your job." (in 4 reviews)

- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Personal development and growth were supported. Goal-setting culture was inspiring to be around.
Cons
The company was growing too fast and didn't have a handle on overall company culture.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
- Great discount - Staff rewards are a great incentive - Teams are usually super fun to be around/ like 2nd family - Clothing line can be inspiring - Being a start up allows for some freedom - Usually pretty good on scheduling and flexibility with vacations - this is store to store based
Cons
- Promises of getting promoted - OVERWORKED AND UNDERPAID - Given a specialist's title but junior shop director role - Expectations are beyond absurd (expected to make $10k in one day for Mother's Day) - 90 day/6 month review does not happen - Trying to get a wage raise/promotion is like pulling teeth from a child; don't even bother! - They've been "trying" to work on a bonus system for literally months - nothing in the works yet, so you're expected to make a ton of money - Always had to double check my pay stub - half of the time I worked OT, it was not approved on time, so it came 1-2 checks later (SD's fault)

Pros
-fun work environment with flexibility to plan events and network with influentials in the area. -60% discount on clothing, even though it doesn't hold up well. -
Cons
-there is no work life balance especially if you are on salary. -since being understaffed due to the last lay offs and no rehiring, SD's and JSD can work upwards of 10-12 hour days because there is no one else. -the product is terrible, I haven't purchased any new clothing because it just peels and gets holes in it the next day I wear it. -there just aren't any customers that want to purchase - there have been days where we see 4 customers and have one sale. -they expect you to do all of this excess work -- when you should really be focusing on the sales floor... processes change all the time and then they lay off 20% of their HQ ... preventing a trickle down to the showrooms.... it's terrible -was able to be promoted however since then growth has been stagnant.. with no plans in place for any employees to grow. -HUGE mass exit going on in the company right now. SCARY -oh yeah, they make you go to landmark? and it's required. -they have no culture or integrity here either..
