    Positive Outlook

I worked at Klamath Community College (More than a year)

    Pros

Great learning experience and busy tutor center. Most students really want to learn and management is flexible and very supportive.

    Cons

There are usually not enough tutors and you have to be able to manage several students simultaneously.

    Advice to Management

Offer more hours and more incentives. Increase the number of tutors for a better tutor to student ratio.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Klamath Community College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As a tech, you get complete freedom when deciding how to impact and influence the staff and students at the College. Your goal is to make things better for everyone and due to the small staff size you're able to wear many hats. The Director of Technology is a friendly and smart guy who values hard work and innovation.

    Cons

As a government funded college you will be working very strict hours which for most computer engineers can be a bit tedious.

    Advice to Management

Keep allowing the techs to innovate and loosen up the reigns on hours. You will be rewarded in both productivity and happiness.
