Cons
Not a lot of local work

Pros
Big company you can get away with anything somewhat maintained equipment Won’t go broke they have many accounts. If you can get locked onto a dedicated route that can get you closer to $1600 a week.
Cons
More you work the less you make. (Sliding scale) “Freight is slow” I worked there 2 years and freight is always slow. They try to keep drivers around 2500 miles because it’s safer and gives them buffer zone for taking care of customers. Pay discrepancies, don’t get paid for anything extra. You have to keep a running ledger to keep track of empty miles, empty moves, layover, detention. I stopped driving and stayed at the terminal a week to get paid because the amount owed was $2700+ in failed payroll issues. Over 1 month No raises worth mentioning. This company survives of new drivers working 1-6 months. They don’t need long term drivers.

They don't force loads on you, they listen to their drivers, they get drivers home as much or as little as the driver wants.
Cons
The pay scale is about the only thing I can think of for cons, starting at 48 cents per mile and capping around 60

Good home time available from them
Cons
Dirty trucks. Poorly maintained Old trailers. Rude dispatchers. Dirty terminals. Bad pay. Long waiting at the shop. You have to beg your dispatcher for layover pay and detention pay., it's not automatic. Basic trucks are kept for 5 years. Cloth seats are never cleaned. You have to beg for a new mattress.
