Pros
Pay was good so can’t complain
Cons
Over work you all the time
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Big company you can get away with anything somewhat maintained equipment Won’t go broke they have many accounts. If you can get locked onto a dedicated route that can get you closer to $1600 a week.
Cons
More you work the less you make. (Sliding scale) “Freight is slow” I worked there 2 years and freight is always slow. They try to keep drivers around 2500 miles because it’s safer and gives them buffer zone for taking care of customers. Pay discrepancies, don’t get paid for anything extra. You have to keep a running ledger to keep track of empty miles, empty moves, layover, detention. I stopped driving and stayed at the terminal a week to get paid because the amount owed was $2700+ in failed payroll issues. Over 1 month No raises worth mentioning. This company survives of new drivers working 1-6 months. They don’t need long term drivers.

Pros
Good people in the office
Cons
Sliding pay scale for miles

Pros
Non-forced dispatch, home often as needed, newer equipment, full shops at most terminals for truck repairs, great dispatchers
Cons
Trucks are governed to 63 (65 on cruise control), must drive 4,000+ miles in the month to qualify for a bonus (be it safety, fuel, or other bonuses), sometimes no freight in area you may come upon but only happens once in a blue moon. Beginning pay is low if you have a family.

Pros
Many terminals mostly new trucks flexible home time no forced dispatching
Cons
Poor communication with dispatch very strict U-turn policy incompetence in the office, especially accounts managers getting paid what you're owed can be a tug-o-war

Unprofessional Workplace
Mar 3, 2023 - Driver Manager in Columbus, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great huge company that will always keep you employed and continues to invest in the company as a whole.
Cons
Pai isn't great considering what you have to deal with including drivers and hours worked. Upper management is a joke and acts like little kids. They are very unprofessional and only care about drivers. They tell you one thing to get you hired like only having to work 10 hours a day Monday-Friday for 50 hour work weeks but you have to be a "team" player and help out where business needs which always turns into working weekends also because turnover is horrible because the continue to hire kids who don't care and quit and the regulars get stuck being the team players.

Not Work/life balance friendly, rate per mile could be better
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★

Sitting and waiting

Freight is supposedly “slow” so you end up sitting quite a bit but yet they keep hiring more drivers.
