I worked at Knorr Brake full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    They do have great benefits.

    Cons

No overtime for holiday weeks (even if you came in on the holiday you must have 40 actual working hours), some people refer to the floor as a prison/zoo due to all higher up staff walking on catwalks all day staring at you, and of course you have a your typical favorites from management who will get away with murder while others are fired for a petty reason.

I worked at Knorr Brake full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits and some people are great to work with

    Cons

Most things are bad, looks pretty on the outside inside management plays favorites, respect is not given unless you have a big title. Please ask yourself if you’re willing to be disrespected and feel belittled- if yes this is the place for you!

I worked at Knorr Brake full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Bennifits are ok, most coworkers are courteous.

    Cons

Directors, Managers and Supervisors with a couple of exceptions vindictive self centered egotistical and don’t understand basic business principles. Pay is lower than comparable companies. absolutely no chance for advancement through normal channels of hard work and accomplishments. High turnover rate due to abusive atmosphere and lack of respect. Arrogant supervisors and managers will not listen or provide any kind of leader ship when you present a problem or ask for help.

I have been working at Knorr Brake full-time

    Pros

No much things to do, no real deadlines to anything. Easy working environment, no big challenges from any of the works.

    Cons

Not much of any development opportunities. People with true talents were out of this place within two years usually. Very mediocre managers, some of the managers don't know much about what they are doing and they don't seem to care. No professional integrity at all at any of the works done here. The company is facing multiple lawsuits and the CEO just got kicked out of the position. There is a so-called "Brother and Sister's Club" where the senior managers and directors are in, and they are all closed friends or relatives, and the unwritten rule is: Don't even think about advancing to a higher position if you are not in that club.

I worked at Knorr Brake full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Stable and growing company backed by a big international safety net.

    Cons

Low pay and big turnover. You probably won't feel valued as more than a warm body filling a cube.

    Pros

None at this time. A lot of potentials with the right leaders.

    Cons

I have been working at Knorr Brake full-time

    Pros

KBC has been nothing but good to me. I’ve been provided with challenging work from the get go, unlimited training opportunities, had the opportunity to travel, and have been promoted. KBC recognizes and rewards their employees through various awards and development programs, merit increases, promoting from within and monthly employee events. The company really cares about the community too! Employees have many opportunities to get involved. The company even offers volunteer time off!! The benefits are unlike any other company I’ve worked at- extremely low premiums and so many freebies!

    Cons

They growing so fast, they are running out of space in the very young (5yrs old) building they have. They are currently building out more space and adding parking, but it will take some time.
