I worked at Knowledge Matrix full-time

    Pros

Work in this company if you can't find a job in any other company

    Cons

    1. Insufficient ventilation inside the office. There are air-conditioners whose purpose is more of a decorative showpiece than serving it's actual purpose. The work-station area can be mistaken to some internet cafe.

    2. Heavy use of vernacular language and poor use of English within the teams.

    3. The people in the upper management are pretentious technical illiterates. No adequate exposure to the emerging technologies and industry standard best-practices.

    4. Some projects while in development phase have had strategies of integrating certain information security features that were compromised to some novice level of expertise and were susceptible to external threats.

    5. Worst of all, there is some sort of boss-servant attitude. Developers are expected to work 'by abiding orders' from the upper management, instead of working for the project's best results.

If you join this company, be rest assured that what you'll learn in 2 years will be lesser than what you could have learned in that same 2 years while working for some other company.

    Advice to Management

This company has a long list of improvements to do. They can start by liberating the use of air-conditioning in the workstation areas and prevent suffocation.
