    Pros

The people in muskogee that work at gp make it one of the most successful paper mills in the world

    Cons

For the vast majority there are no major cons. Just very minimal complaints due to people having been there for over 30 years so they have to bicour cause they don't know how good we have it

    Advice to Management

Keep it simple and never forget that we are a great team all out trying to be safe and provide for our families and return to them everyday the same way or better than we were when we left to go to work

I have been working at Koch Industries full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunities for advancement and strong company financials. Enjoyable work environment. Management embraces company MBM philosophy. Offers good employee benefits package and 401K company match.

    Cons

Limited opportunities to increase pay and no flex time offered. Company could do a better job identifying gaps in pay on in-kind jobs and bridging gender pay gap.

    Advice to Management

Continuously challenge company pay philosophy and offer
flex time in order to retain top talent.

I have been working at Koch Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

One of the best companies I've had the pleasure of working for. Quite a few pros to be had here:
Competitive pay compared to everything (except the oilfield in full swing)
    Great benefits
Very family orientated. I've had more than one issue arise and so have many coworkers and everyone really comes together to help them out
Very team orientated. They make sure that once your in the fold, they do their best to help you rise to the occasion.
Willing to recognize hard work and talent. It's not always immediate, but when they notice, your career takes off.

    Cons

Swing shift-constantly rotating days and night gets frustrating for everyone. Wish they had a solid schedule or rotate less.
Safety- I understand that it's out of they're hands and they're trying to make sure everyone gets home safely, but they sometimes take it to far.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the awesome work! For whoevers in charge, maybe consider keeping the same off/on days but make a day/night schedule more permanent.

I worked at Koch Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Immediate colleagues are great. The work provides room to grow and refines your skill set as no two jobs are the same.

    Cons

Upper management is disconnected and they don't seek to understand. The culture is not as described, and it starts from the top.

    Advice to Management

When you value and respect your employees, then the results will come. Invest in your employees as much as you invest in closing a deal to ensure they have the necessary support to get the job done. You can sale all the product in the world on paper, but without your employees. . . You simply can't deliver. Preriod.

    Pros

Amazing team and leadership. You feel like an integral part of the team that is trying to accomplish societal changes in CJR. Lots of freedom to learn while still being held to a high standard of responsibility.

    Cons

Honestly I cannot say there were any cons. So I am just trying to fill some space here.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. Working on the Public Policy team was amazing.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Koch Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work provides an opportunity for diverse experiences with a different challenge to be responded to on a daily basis.

    Cons

Koch Industries is a large organization with many sectors, each sector having multiple business units. In my experience and observations, the Koch Company culture that is written about in the books authored by the company president and bragged about during the recruitment phase doesn't seem to exist at Koch Heat Transfer.

    Advice to Management

Run the business as if your most important resource is your employees and you will find success. Seek to understand the people on the team and the value they bring; the best organizations are open and collaborative. Consider reading The Science of Success and Good Profit and applying the ideas in the books.
