It is always nice to hear that our people are great to work with… Our business model for servicing our products in the field needed to change to match the reality of the equipment that is now being serviced. Our pay rates are indeed competitive for this new service model. Overtime is required under some circumstances but we make every attempt to use it judiciously. We think the future looks bright for Kodak Alaris…. maybe you have not noticed but we have added roughly 200 new employees in software, sales, service, hardware, and other roles and we currently plan to fill 100 more positions just in the US in the next year as part of evolving the business and culture of our company. Thank you for your review. Our pay and benefits are competitive with the marketplace for companies our size so it is good that you recognized this fact ... we don't always get credit for this! Regarding layers of management, we recently reviewed this as part of our transformation initiative. We discovered that many of our managers and supervisors are not just managing people but they are also doing individual contributor work, making them dual focused. We will flatten the structure where it makes sense but we do not want to do so blindly just to make a number.
