Worst job experience ever
Dec 1, 2019 - Photographer in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Most of the Leads are great people. Met very cool customers and the occasional celebrity.
Cons
Hands down the worst working experience I have ever had. The number of people that quit during my first week alone should have been a red flag. The favoritism is off the charts; theres zero training they give you a camera and push you into shark infested waters (angry tourists). They force you to mislead them by forcing you to que them (the tourists) in a line for an optional picture, to be successful at your job requires a level of dishonesty. In the summer you're required to wear long black sleeves no matter how hot it is, in the winter you stay on the 70th floor in -10 degree weather in a flimsy jacket that goes over your own & you are only allowed to come inside if the CAMERA shutter freezes up. Any and all technical malfunctions are your fault even though you the equipment is outdated and you get little to know training. Anything I learned about doing my job was from my co workers, The sheer stress I was under caused my eyebrow and facial hair to fall out at the time. Heed my words if you're even thinking about applying for this job don't its not worth it, There are better & warmer jobs out there.

This company could be the next Creo with the right management
Apr 5, 2014 - Strategic Account Manager in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Outstanding products. Excellent service. Market leader in graphics imaging worldwide.
Cons
Outdated "top-down" management style. Completely self-centered, no interest in customer satisfaction. Current management have no strategy. Eliminating people that touch customers is the wrong approach. Eliminate 75% of upper management. They are not needed and create large drain on profits.

Pros
The other employees were nice, and coworkers bonded well to survive. The pay was above minimum wage, so you actually could earn a little bit.
Cons
Management does not treat employees or customers with respect. Breaks have to be forced, and some shady things go on behind the scene. Instead of encouraging employees, management demoralizes them. There are also unrealistic expectation of performance (such as getting 100 photographs in an hours when less than 100 people pass by). Promotions are sometime based on personal relationships instead of talent. You have to stand for many hours a day with nothing to do, so it's very boring. You're not really serving customers so much as startling them into doing business with you, which gets some very bad reactions sometimes.
