I have been working at Kohl's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employee discount , Will give u a kohls card after a year ! Being right across the street from me

    Cons

Very uncomfortable hostility environment and manipulating . Only part time , checks your purse every time , favors people and on my case about little things when I’m not doing nothing wrong , threatening managers

    Advice to Management

A lot of people end up leaven not because of the job but because of how managers treat employees ! I really wish I could bring more awareness on this subject! It’s just so hard to find a way to push this to make management more professional deff in my location ! I’m about to put my two weeks in and I have never had so much drama at a job ! I truelly think they are trying to push me to leave ! I am very unhappy there !

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Kohl's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Employee discounts you can use on sales

    Cons

Rude supervisors, not enough staff ,low pay

    Advice to Management

Since you expect someone to work like a dog. for little pay, at least train your supervisors to learn how to talk to your employees. Since reading all the reviews it's obvious that this behavior is wide spread thru the company. So I am sure this review is meaningless to management

    I worked at Kohl's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good coupons and semi reasonable hours

    Cons

Constant pressure for credit, and very little hours

    Advice to Management

I think it would be better to spread hours out evenly, you many associates begging for less hours and so many more associates begging for more, no person can live and pay bills only getting 100 (if you're lucky) a week. One more complaint would be the credit hassling, I've seen so many people leave because of this and honestly it breaks you down know that today or some other day you just couldn't manage to get one, and it doesn't help that hours get cut because of it, the management is very harsh(at least at the Stockton Kohl's) on you if you can't manage to get one, so many times have I seen good people walk out because they were frustrated just ease up a bit and you'll have happier and more agreeing associates

    I worked at Kohl's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small discount on product, closing time is not late -9 pm ish, seemed to have flexible scheduling

    Cons

Practically no training provided, forced to handle fecal matter (patrons pooping in dressing rooms), poor scheduling practices, worse management

    Advice to Management

Be honest with hour and position expectations, understand that fecal matter is outside of most pay grades -legally
