    Pros

    Great German made rotary products.

    Cons

    Horrible place to work! Expect to work 60 hours a week and be micromanaged. If you want the true story, ask to speak to the person who had the territory before you and get their true opinion as to what to expect - don't listen to a current employee! The turnover rate from this company is extremely high - check it out - do not fall for their idol promises and what they have planned for the future. You are strictly a commodity that probably will be replaced within two years. If they offer you a job, do yourself a favor and refuse it!!

    Quit lying to your employees and start keeping your promises.

    work life balance, quality product, training

    Cons

    no opportunity for advancement, no reviews, management is out of touch and doesn't understand how to grow business. Constant turnover of both inside and outside reps. no marketing strategy. employees are worried about losing their jobs.

    Advice to Management

    focus on customer and taking care of them. establish better corporate culture that what it is now. constant turnover is hurting potential.

    Pros

    Great manager and resources to succeed. A lot of autonomy in sales decisions and the company wants you to succeed. You also have an inside sales rep to help you with your territory.

    Cons

    A lot of products that you need to learn and a lot of different pricing. Komet is still growing so there is not room for promotion yet.

    Advice to Management

    I do not have any advice for management. Great company to work for.

    I have been working at Komet USA LLC full-time

    Pros

    No micro managing, family oriented, pay is outstanding, benefits are even better. The upper management is beyond amazing and patient when teaching you the ropes. My favorite part of the job is that they dont just throw you out there and expect you succeed. They give you everything you need. The CEO and COO are amazing people that you connect with on a personal level which is rare for a company that large.

    Cons

    It is going to take you a while to learn the surplus of products Komet supplies. Just like any sales job the pressure is going to be on. Not really a whole lot of selling more like knowledge+the right timing= success.

    Advice to Management

    More positive motivation, hearing from upper management that your doing a great job and improving goes a long way.

    Pros

    Very, very laid back. You're recognized for doing great work and are encouraged to innovate. Must be able to prove that what you're doing has value for the entire Komet organization. In addition, you can not find a company that encourages a family-like atmosphere. Komet USA has gatherings for teams and their immediate families. They encourage a positive atmosphere while expecting great results. I never thought I'd be in a dental rotary company, but glad I am and am grateful for the great team I am able to work with. Benefits are really, really good - even compared to Fortune 100 companies. Work-life balance is amazing. If you get your work done, you can take care of pretty much anything reasonable outside of work.

    Cons

    Sometimes the leash is a little too long for some employees. There could be more sales-oriented training for the sales team - not just product training, but sales and the evolution through different channels in the marketplace today.

    Advice to Management

    Stay positive. Keep taking care of the team members, but also take measures when necessary to make changes. Hire for quality, not quantity. There's a strong potential for a world class sales, support, and marketing organization.

    Pros

    Most of the Komet employees are nice people. The Germans are great, but the American management is not.

    Cons

    They lie about your income, they steal your hard work and then give your sales to "favored" employees ie the management and or the as.kissers, btw there are several of those.

    Advice to Management

    STOP lying, increase the base pay, fire the people who cheat the system. You know who actually works vs who gets their orders called in from their Outside Sales Representative. Treat hard workers fairly...fire the bottom feeders and backstabbing trolls.

    They do pay holidays and give some bonus'

    Cons

    There is a lot of pressure to meet goals and you feel like you might not have a job day to day should you miss your goals

    Advice to Management

    you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink so it is true of people and purchase

    Pros

    Benefits are great, paid time off is great, people are fun & friendly to work with for the most part, steady base salary, flexibility with pricing products for your customers, casual dress.

    Cons

    Base salary of $10/hr is way too low for what's expected, management argues constantly with each other, poor communication and earning structures, not enough sales training and continued education, an increase in quantity of calls and talk time vs. learning and demonstrating how QUALITY relationships should be built with customers.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more employees at better rates. Hire employees with the sole purpose to generate leads. Hire employees with the sole purpose to utilize social media marketing strategies. Hire employees with the sole purpose to take credit card payments. Listen & ask your employees what THEY think... or else you'll have a completely new group of employees every year. People are seeking new jobs currently. Everything is going down hill.
