I worked at Kondaur Capital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

NONE! Stay far away from this place!!

    Cons

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked for. Management is clueless and unbelievably cheap! They don't even pay their vendors and treat their employees like trash.

    Advice to Management

Take some management classes and get a clue the failures of this company are solely on your shoulders, you had some great employees that you ALL made miserable. No wonder this company has/is failing...

I worked at Kondaur Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are looking to gain experience in the mortgage business this place is definitely the place to go. They give opportunities to people looking to work hard, but that is about it.

    Cons

High turnover. Too many people quitting and for a very good reason. The managers in position are horrible. They have ZERO leadership skills and have no idea what they are doing. Several of their managers making horrible decisions and have no idea what the hell they are doing. A lot of favoritism that is running that company into the ground. The owner is a joke. Trade in the Hawaiian shirts for a business suit and hire managers and executives that actually know what they are doing.

    Advice to Management

Listen to to your employees who are putting in the work. Hire competent experienced managers that know what they are doing and know how to lead a team to success.

I worked at Kondaur Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual Dress Code, food trucks and work hours

    Cons

The employees in different departments think they are above everyone else no one knows more than them. Its quite disturbing that everyone name drops when they need to make a point its like the stepford wives they run around quoting what management says to do and if you voice your opinion your shot down and shown that you are nothing but small fish in pond of piranhas.

    Advice to Management

Management should listen to the employees not micro managing their every move and take some Sigma classes, email etiquette, social skills in the work place because there is no effective management stop controlling like Hitler and learn to trust your employees in their jobs skills, numbers and reports are not only thing important in running a "corporation"

I have been working at Kondaur Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Getting to go home at night and the food truck is the only pro. There are no pros. Be afraid be very afraid

    Cons

Absolutely NOTHING. You want to stay as far away from this place as you can. They are so cheap the don't give any reviews so they don't have to give any raises. The don't match your 401k so what is the point. Company does not give a crap about their employees. Their attitude us "if you don't like it you can leave" mentality. Bad bad bad.no one knows what they are doing here. Upper management gets paid $140k and the people that do the work are paid slave wages of $12 bucks an hour. Management is a total joke and arrogant. Run as fast as you can to get away from this place. Will be leaving in a few week can't wait to get out of there not even giving notice just leaving. Why do you think the always have so many open positions no one stays and WHY would you want to.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. The president of this company is a complete joke. Wears the same clothes all the time looks like a homeless person.

great company a few years ago but bad management decisions took it down the wrong path, current management treats employees poorly and compensation is below average. not much chance for advancement

    Advice to Management

I worked at Kondaur Capital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid salary, benifits, paid licensing in several states. Nice people to work with

    Cons

Trying to meet impossible quotas - with borrowers with bad credit and a lot of turn downs. Disbursement of qualified leads are given to people they want to keep. Income less than 50k if your not fed- good leads.

    Advice to Management

Build better marketing- stop blaming LO'S for lack of team production - try motivating thr.team rather than demolishing their enthusiasm- especially with very bad lead w/bad credit.

    Pros

The fellow employees that were hired while I was there all had above average skill sets for their positions. Kondaur did an excellent job of acquiring strong and talented employees.

    Cons

I did not enjoy my commute to the office but they are located in a central area for OC, LA and Riverside residents.
