Subpar Company at Best
May 25, 2023 - Salws Manager in Springfield, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Benefits are good. Pay is ok but still below average in most areas. Promote and hire diversity.
Cons
Company is struggling with culture, values, and is only focused on hiring and promoting diversity. They do not look at the total person concept when hiring. It’s either they have to be their friends or they have to check a box to be hired or advance within the company. It’s very sad because there are good people at Konecranes, just the wrong direction and wrong agendas are being implemented. Some leaders need to go and others need proper coaching. It’s a top down issue that cannot be fixed with the liberal agenda that is being imposed from Finland. Very sad, but do not even think about working for this company if you are not a member of a protected class.

Field operative
Apr 23, 2023 - Field Operations Technician in Oklahoma City, OKRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great insurance, and in company technical support.
Cons
Work life balance could be much better. Lots of travel away from home multiple nights a week. It's not always constant, but it's enough. Lots of jobs have wrong parts sent, which is frustrating for techs and customers alike.
Continue readingThank you for your report/review. Field Ops are at the heart of our Service business. We need them focused on the technical issue/s and the customer. Management is always testing and reiterating processes - such as parts delivery and scheduling to take the burden off of Field Ops. Field Ops are in a unique position to serve the supply chains of all industries – in other words- we keep things moving! Without us, products and goods from all businesses come to a grinding halt. We function within a highly responsive market, and there will be times where our work dictates some extra time. However, workloads should never be in excess of 60 hours a week (including overtime). If this happens to be the case, please speak to your supervisor regarding reallocation of tasks or the redefinition of your role in the organization

Pros
The projects you work on are always unique and challenging. Benefits are better than average for Health Care. There are some really great people who are a joy to work with.
Cons
Poor collaboration between different departments. Upper management is mostly absent, and cut throat, which leads to a lot of misguided assumptions and confusing decisions. Management is known for their aggressive dog-eat-dog tactics against one another, and provides very bad communication. Pay is also below average.

Thank you for the gracious rating! You are absolutely correct about hard work. Two of our factory workers were recently promoted and will now join our office staff across the way. There is no ceiling to success at KC!
