Cons
Konecranes randomly pulls people out of roles and moves them to other roles. They also have chosen to "adjust" the payroll for the sales people to a lower salary (significantly lower for some) with small commission and a limited sales scope. The new program is universal with no accounting for tenure or experience, and is marketed as unlimited earning potential, but they limit what you are allowed to sell and get commission for. Konecranes used to be very focused on taking care of the people that work for them, but over the last few years has drastically moved to focusing on the bottom line and doing "more with less". Unfortunately this is still an extremely top heavy company and the cuts are being covered by the people on the street.

The new sales commission structure is our attempt to allow our sales resources full reward for their activity without limitation. Our sales personnel can sell a variety of safety and productivity solutions at varying levels of complexity. With this structure, we have attempted to align our sales people in roles best addressing those needs. The big cranes are fun to build. There are some good people to work around. There are chances for lots of overtime in the shop, but you will need to work long hours and weekends.
Cons
Pay and time off is not good. Raises were disappointing. Supervisor and Leads do not listen to anyone, and they like to play favorites. Not much room for growth or opportunity, unless you are a favorite. Some nice and good people are not working here anymore.
