I worked at Konica Minolta Business Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty good benefits, great products that remain competitive in the market place. Much effort is made to stay competitive in technology and skills.

    Cons

I would say the main cons are related to workload, the ranks have thinned to the point of too few people doing too much work. I would also say the pay is low too.

    Advice to Management

I would advise management to work to stay innovative and to stay in touch with the pulse of the employees.

    Pros

Great training, ongoing support, and managers have open door policy. Lots of room to grow, fun, family like atmosphere, perks, incentives, games for deals that were closed or for most leads generated, etc.

    Cons

Lots of cliques within the various teams, too many meetings, cant trust your co workers much, they will steal your deal right underneath your nose! favoritism goes on a lot here.

    Advice to Management

Share leads with your entire team.

    Pros

Great family type atmosphere, great location.

    Cons

For a company this size and trying to be a top employer of choice, they are very backward in terms of vacation, work from home or remote abilities, and don't trust their employees.
More promotions from within at Corporate.

    Advice to Management

To get great talent, you need to hire well, and respect that they will serve you - in addition, you need to be much more competitive with your benefits and time off. 2 weeks and 1/2 hour lunch doesn't cut it at all in 2016. No millennials will ever stay under that premise.

I have been working at Konica Minolta Business Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great products & solutions.

    Cons

Management and business model needs an overhaul - archaic and 'good old boy' favoritism. Negative, fostering competition, 'stealing' accounts, etc..... how old school!

    Advice to Management

Instead of fostering an atmosphere of internal competition, thinking this will 'motivate' salesforce, perhaps fostering a more professional and positive would be much more effective.

I worked at Konica Minolta Business Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule with great coworkers who take a genuine interest in your success. Located in 500 W Madison, which makes commuting easier and has great restaurants

    Cons

SO MUCH RED TAPE - every deal gets stalled for one reason or another. Constantly changing territories, and upper management just doesn't care

    Advice to Management

Be more upfront with your sales staff. You are good people who don't really tell the rest of the group what is going on and it really hurts us in the end
