    Cons

No promotion incentive for office staff. Micromanaged by market area and regional management. Cut me loose after 11 yrs of faithful, painful employment.

I worked at Konica Minolta full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Konica Minolta was a growing company with good benefits and nice people to work with.

    Cons

The downside of the job was the training and how much training was that I received. I was never sent out of town to the cooperate office to get the correct training I needed and I felt that I was lost in what I had to do at times.

    Advice to Management

I feel with the qualifications that I have and my background, I feel that I would be a good asset to the company. I would love to advance and feel good about my success and to grow to be in management.

I worked at Konica Minolta part-time

    Pros

Nothing HR is complete selfish and doesn't have any compassion or sympathy for anyone or anything. Extremely selfish

    Cons

It was my first day and we have been moving so things have been hecktic. I was late and I didn't know I was supposed to wear steel toesmd boot so she sent me back home to get them and when I came back she told the supervisors not to hire me and then told me that I wasn't needed and asked why the temp service didn't tell me. The temp service was never informed that I was being cancelled and neither did I. She doesn't u derstand that things happen. And it was a simple mistake. HR costed me my job because of a bad day. Not to me tion she lied to my face. If I was originally not needed I would have been told when I asked the temp service to call and inform them I would be late. Or when I first went up there not after I was sent home to get my shoes and came back.

    Advice to Management

Look in to finding a new HR Rep because the girl at the front desk is completely rude and coated a great employee a job because I had one bad day. But didn't get the chance to prove myself because HR completely bashed me to the supervisors. Plus I had previously went up there before to try to get an application and she was extremely rude to me and very sarcastic. I told myself I would never get a job there because of her but was placed there by my temp agency and did not know that it was that specific location and what do you know same lady that was ride to me before is the same lady that costed me a job. I'd look for a new HR lady because I've had other people tell me same stories of their envoy terms with her and they have never been positive when dealingg with her.

I worked at Konica Minolta full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

+ They provided "fitbit" based health program - awarding of a lot of walked employers by the medical insurance discount.
    + Christmas parties
+ Food on the independence day

    Cons

    - Micromanagement. Our manager was literally "micromanager". I didn't even know how it can be, but started read the Wiki article and realized - we had (our team) the manager who described by that article almost everything. We had a lot of fights with him. It was awful.
    - Very unprofessional and technically unprepared manager. We needed to explain him a lot of well known IT concepts. Do you believe this? I wouldn't unless I saw it. He asked to explain every character in code we did, he even couldn't use Git, etc
    - Company didn't provide any training, courses or anything to improve their employers
    - Sometimes made pressure to prepare some strange docs like graphical scheme of code callings for one particular method

    Advice to Management

Do not believe the managers who are pretending everything is great, but you can't see real progress. Do not let them waste money of your company!
