    Pros

great people, good culture, global challenges, interesting work

    Cons

still operates a bit like a start-up, so you have to be willing to create the road while you are driving on it at times.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

I have been working at Kony full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work with smart people. Great salary and bonus. Many positions allow you to work remotely.

    Cons

Top heavy - 50+ VP's. Indecisive leadership changes the company's strategic direction every six to nine months. These frequent reorgs cause constantly changing priorities, turnover, and occasional layoffs. Sales is team is wildly inconsistent - one great quarter followed by two terrible ones. The is no customer success organization within the company and little enthusiasm from leadership for keeping existing customers happy - all the focus is on sales to new customers. When push comes to shove, the human resources team defers to management rather than helping employees. Limited career paths.

    Pros

    Good work/life balance.
Management genuinely seems to care about the well-being of employees.

    Cons

Company just doesn't seem to grow. It's a hot market, lots of activity, but the company has trouble making revenue numbers. This puts pressure on budgets, pay, new hires - it's a vicious cycle.
Probably will get acquired in the next couple of years.

I worked at Kony full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Compensation is very competitive, many smart people work here, product is among the best rated in market

    Cons

Entire company strategy will shift every 3-6 months due to a new customer or partner or in response to something the competitor has announced - and the projects that were high priority last month are now defunct for the latest and greatest amazing idea someone on the exec team has had. If you're not working at HQ it is hard to get any traction or stay up to date to all of these changes - not to mention the revolving door in each and every role at every level and having a new manager every 4 months who comes with their own new strategy to implement, one that is usually completely different than your previous manager's strategy so consistently starting over with new objectives makes it difficult to get any traction in new markets...

    Advice to Management

Employee retention - not just in India - should be a priority. Team building, customer relationships and partner enthusiasm is difficult when the players keep changing. Give people in the field more autonomy to build their markets. Find your place in the market and excel at it - stop chasing the competitors.
