I have been working at Korman Residential full-time

    Pros

The organization treats it's employees well and the events outside of the office are always a blast. Management knows exactly what they are doing

    Cons

Not much to say here unless you want to work for a very large organization, this company is smaller than a lot of it's main competitors

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I worked at Korman Residential full-time

    Pros

This is an interesting job if you care about finding someone their home.

    Cons

Do not expect to get rich here. The base salary is shameful.

    Advice to Management

Please pay your leasing agents better. Increase the commission structure. ( has not be changed in decades)

I worked at Korman Residential full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people on the staff and properties are kept up.

    Cons

Pay sucks, benefits suck, no employee advancement opportunity and rent discount is pathetic and next to nothing. Corporate expects you to cheer about every little thing they do, cult mentality. You have to be related to someone or know someone to move up in the company. When compared to other property management companies, they pay less and offer lower rent discounts. I couldn't afford to live on the property when i worked there, that's why I quit after three years still hoping I'd get a bigger raise or promotion. Never happened.

    Advice to Management

It's a nice thing that Korman is so charitable, but start helping your employees who work so hard for you by increasing pay, getting better benefits and offering bigger discounts on apartments!

    Pros

I believe that the best thing about working at Korman are the residents. You become a part of their life because you are their home.

    Cons

Corporate has little to no experience with leasing and working with people so the rules they pass down do not make sense at times. Frustrating when you are trying to lease apartments that are just sitting and are not renting.

    Advice to Management

Take advice from the people who work with the residents every day. They know the residents better then anyone. Also, just because someone has worked for the company for over 5 years does not mean they are a good fit for the business. Reevaluate their performance from time to time.
