Very long hours, no work life balance, demanding

    Business Outlook

    Pros

-Potential to receive a very large bonus each year -Exposure to different projects within the company

    Cons

Very long hours, expected to take meetings regularly during off hours (7am, 8pm, etc), no work life balance, a lot of weekend work, no proper trainings for system use, disorganized so everything is a “fire drill” that needs to be get done ASAP hence the off hours calls

Depends on what you're looking for

Jun 24, 2021 - Human Resources Analyst in Chicago, IL

    Pros

Good place to get lots of exposure even at a more junior level.

    Cons

During the interview process there is a bit of false expectation that you're able to move up quickly and grow/own your own career. In reality a position needs to open up and the process could take months (if not over a year) even after you've been deemed ready for a promotion. Alot of processes and red tape which really slows alot of the day to day down.

    Progressive culture for the better

Jun 3, 2021 - Financial Analyst in Chicago, IL

    Pros

The finance org is listening to employee engagement survey and improving work life balance. There are plenty of great people to work with - smart, humble and friendly. The work is often meaningful and I could see the impact of my work adding value to the company. Compensation is above market value, evaluation and recognition are often fair and transparent (depending on your manager).

    Cons

Culture changes vastly from teams to teams. Some are heavily reliant on unnecessary fire drills that create unexpected long hours.

    Extremely Toxic Work Environment

Mar 15, 2021 - Analyst in Chicago, IL

    Business Outlook

    Pros

The bonus was competitive and office views (pre-covid) were great.

    Cons

Most of management was extremely toxic, egotistical, and non-understanding. Felt like they looked down on people instead of helping and leading by example. The role was set up for failure.. this was proven due to MULTIPLE people leaving this specific job due to unsustainable workload and toxic members of the team that felt like you were working FOR them instead of WITH them. The work was overlooked and felt like questions were only being asked for the sake of it due to the egotistical nature of certain management leading to inefficient production of work. Management was also hypocritical and lower-ranking members of the team were held at a higher standard than them.
