    Best to just avoid

Feb 5, 2021 - Associate Brand Manager in Dallas, TX
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

High pay and high levels of responsibility early in your career

    Cons

-Claims to be a meritocracy but advancement is entirely political. Especially if you're within the corporate management trainee program, you're shot through the ranks regardless of merit -Teams are way too small and overworked -Accounting, projection and reporting practices are shady. Everyone just looking for ways to CYA when in meetings with leadership. -No budget whatsoever to do anything while also expecting growth profiles.

Opportunities limitless if willing to put in work

Aug 5, 2020 - Brand Manager in Chicago, IL
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Great company and great people. In recent years, Leadership really seems to be taking the necessary steps to transform the business and the workplace. The opportunities are present to be able to nurture skills with ability to explore other career areas during tenure. Not for people who are unwilling to put in the hard work needed to reap rewards

    Cons

Work life balance can still feel fleeting. And rituals and routines often feel like they can outweigh real work. Feels as though we spend tons of time dealing with internal Bureaucracies instead of doing real work.
