I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great training ground to learn new skills

    Cons

High deductible insurance that the employee pays for out of pocket, low moral due to lack of management accountability, production before safety, etc.

    Advice to Management

Quit selling out to corporate greed and implement good advice from your employees in how to run things more efficiently.

I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Quick decision making. Rapid advancement. Great brands. People generally do want to "do what's right," but it too often gets subverted by short term goal seeking.

    Cons

Attrition has been so severe since merger that every problem is new to the teams. The positive spin is that people are put in stretch roles. The more cynical take is that it's a necessity when everyone with an option has left.

I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

decent pay; good view from Aon

    Cons

This is a place crawling with spineless sycophants. An absolutely terrible environment to be in. I would never suggest anyone take a job here unless you really, REALLY, need the money and no other offers are coming through. First of all, this place is a sinking ship, everything is fire-fighting all of the time. Secondly, you'll be dealing with a fair amount of cool people that are on the same page as you, but also a lot of slimy people. Many managers are so unfamiliar with the work that you will get totally asinine direction from them all the time. The office runs on passing the blame, and with the current structure I see no long-term strategy improvements but rather constant chaos.

If you are willing to "play the game" e.g. suck up to management and stroke people's ego all day long, and if you're willing to be a surface level person through and through, then reach for the stars man, you'll probably get promoted into some management position you're totally unqualified for!

    Advice to Management

blind leading the blind here. I mean, what could I say that would even be taken into consideration?

I worked at Kraft Heinz Company full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Passionate employees . Strong Brands

    Cons

This company sucks the life out of people. I worked here for almost 9 years and have seen what use to be a great company turn into one of the worst demoralizing experiences of my life. I would not consider myself to be someone who is very very old but at the age of 38 I was considered to be one of the older employees. The goal of the company is to hire 25 year olds who do not have families or a spouse and have them work as many hours as humanly possible. You are shamed if you leave before 6pm and considered not adhering to the 'Culture'. It is like being part of a cult as you are to take part in the company battle cry after every meeting, wear clothes with company branding, you do what ever management tells you or fear of loosing your job. I am so happy I left as I have greater peace now.

    Advice to Management

Women are 50% of the population, you need to provide a work environment that will allow women who are typically the main caregiver the ability to balance work and home. You also need to have a greater balance of experience and junior employees. You cant just have an young inexperienced employee base.

I worked at Kraft Heinz Company full-time

    Pros

The people are top notch and they work miracles with what they are working with as far as capital and equipment .

    Cons

The Company promotes people that are unqualified and/or inept in their functions.
The expectation is employees live to work, with no work-life balance.
The focus is on money, and will do anything to make their budgets.

    Advice to Management

Innovate, grow the business and don't focus on where to cut next just to hit your KPIs. You have put the people that work for you in an untenable position.

    Pros

None and it keeps getting worse

    Cons

Lack of training; Brazilian "children" masquerading as managers; majority of Pittsburgh jobs outsourced; no work/life balance for those left behind.

    Advice to Management

Why bother; they won't take it and it's too late to return to the great company it once was.

    Pros

Management has good people and and operations run in a sensible way. There's a lot of work per person but this means there's opportunities to improve operations and move up.

    Cons

There's a lot of work per person.
