    Pros

Good coworkers, average pay fort industry

    Cons

Management and owner turn over high, this was prior to Kraton purchase

    Advice to Management

    Stabilize

    I worked at Kraton full-time

    Pros

Good working environment. People are willing to share their knowledge and expertise. The company allows interns to complete projects that fall in line with actual engineering work.

    Cons

    Nothing comes to mind.

I have been working at Kraton full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pay is decent for working in a plant environment.

    Cons

The Savannah plant has a Union that holds back employees from achieving promotion.

    Advice to Management

Visit your plants more and listen to what actual employees in the plant have to say. Lower level management needs to be reevaluated, there is a lot that goes on that no one is paying attention too. Most of the management team has no spine to get anything done.

I have been working at Kraton full-time

    Pros

Good Pay, Good Benefits, Flexible middle management, cultivates great people, allows for work life balance- but you have to work at it.

    Cons

Integration is taking longer than anticipated and is more confusing than helpful.

    Advice to Management

Share as much information as possible. Losing great talent for fear of being cut when they aren't ready.

I worked at Kraton full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The only pro I would say would be the manufacturing personnel are extremely knowledgeable so any new hire can trust they will be well instructed.

    Cons

You can expect new hires to be trained well because promotion in any area (other than management) is at a complete standstill and has been for a long time. It is very common to see a hard/good worker that has been in the exact same position for 10+ years.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the good ol boy system and bully management. Promote from within not off the street.

I have been working at Kraton full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Belpre is a nice place to work.

    Cons

No way to advance at Kraton unless your in with Management or Hire in off-the street.

Only expect a 2.5% raise over the long hull no matter how hard you work.

    Advice to Management

Why do you promote people with-out experience?

    Pros

Growing Progressive Company, with great Executive team which encourages employee engagement, and will become an admired Fortune 500 company.

    Cons

Office location is by Intercontinental airport.

    Advice to Management

    None

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Company embraces diversity. Team work in some areas is obvious. In other areas, not seen at all.

    Cons

Lack of development. So-so pay - could be better to compete with market standards (is this done at all?); seems years of experience in the field is not valued in terms of salary. Inequalities (opportunities, growth, salary, organizational structure) still exist between legacy Arizona and legacy Kraton.
