I worked at Krispy Kreme full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a fun and interesting experience working there. My Co workers were great. Free doughnuts during the job. You can learn all positions.

    Cons

Management was not the best. There was preference among employees. Part time is less than 29 hours and full time was only 36 hours. Don't pay good. Customers can be rude sometimes. They always expect hot doughnuts but when the hot light is off we can't heat them up and they get upset.

    Advice to Management

Do not judge people based on their race. Respect everyone equally.

    Pros

some good people to work with... doughnuts... no cap on OT

    Cons

treated poorly, would ask for break 4 hors into shift and be told to wait a little long, poor turn around rate

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time

    Pros

    Not many pros to mention.

    Cons

Everyone working there clearly hates their job. The management hate their jobs and don't know how to maintain morale or make employees stick around. Six hour closing shifts would turn into ten hour shifts regularly, working from 3 PM until sometimes 1 in the morning because the closing shifts have too many tasks to complete--and if they're completed shoddily because of time constraints, you get yelled at. You get reprimanded for staying past the end of your shift and for not getting everything done.
There are no breaks to speak of if the shop is understaffed, and expect to be on your feet dealing with needy customers the entire time.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with other managers and treat your staff with any level of respect so they don't quit!

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A lot of fun, very fast paced work environment. There's always work to do if you look for it.

    Cons

Customers aren't always the most pleasant. Must be able to handle people who are angry for no reason

I worked at Krispy Kreme full-time

    Pros

I was able to get free doughnuts! -I learned how a company like this can be a bad place to work at.

    Cons

One of the worst jobs ever! They were not professional at all.Make sure you treat everyone kind and not have favorites!

    Advice to Management

    Treat people with more respect!

    Pros

Not a bad job if you're okay with making minimum wage. Not a difficult job whatsoever and the customers are nice a vast majority of the time, free doughnuts and other stuff if that's your thing.

    Cons

Schedule might not be to your best liking, poor pay, and management isn't too friendy.

I worked at Krispy Kreme as an intern (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Provides you with a job opportunity that can be very comfortable. What I mean by that is, you deal with happy people on a daily basis who just want to enjoy a great product (the Kk donut). Being in that environment makes it hard to leave the company because there are not many work environments who offer the same atmosphere.

    Cons

A con could possibly be the staff. At times people are really grouchy and they nag about the smallest things. How mad could you really be when your job is to sell donuts?

    Advice to Management

Saul was AMAZING! And since it's a twenty word minimum I'll like to say that I learned a lot from that guy as far as remaining humble and happy.
