I worked at Krispy Kreme full-time

    Pros

Departments in head office constantly quarrelling with each other; mainly supply chain and marketing.
Marketing department having 'hierarchy' in the office
Some employees undervalued despite their clear experience

    Cons

    Upbeat and creative work environment
    Social events

I have been working at Krispy Kreme full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free dozen per week, consistent scheduling. Challenges teach you to problem solve independently, as well as patience and grace under pressure.
Kudoughs awarded for team achievement and personal performance - nice prizes offered for the points.

    Cons

Malfunctioning equipment rarely repaired in a timely manner, minor hazards from broken equipment they don't replace until they have to, low key sexism & racism, conflict in varying degrees between managers, rules selectively enforced, pressure for perfect product, one person often expected to perform multiple tasks at different points of the line at the same time. Expectations are too high given the issues with slacking or absentee coworkers and mechanical issues.
No incentive for third shift over other shifts as most factory jobs offer so it's a revolving door of temps.

    Advice to Management

When an employee tries their best to overcome frustrating challenges, show some appreciation! And if they bring a problem to your attention, address it promptly! Especially if it is hindering the speed and quality of their work in a way they cannot overcompensate for.
Kudoughs points redeemable for prizes are nice but not as good of a motivator as performance bonuses and shift differentials.

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    free donuts whenever your there

    Cons

If you want to work at a job where you are overworked for 10.50 per hour choose this. You are constantly pressured to up sell everything, lines are out the door and some staff just sit around and don't get told anything for doing so. Too much pressure for too little pay. Managers stand around and do nothing while employees struggle to handle customers. They promise you good hours but won't give them to you and continue to hire new people

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay wage or lower expectations

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

-could work seasonal after beginning college
    -free donuts on the job
    -clean atmosphere to work in

    Cons

-manager changed every year at my location, so any decisions the previous manager planned on making to better our building, was ignored by the next manager, therefore things didnt get done
-our location didnt make the donuts
-our location sometimes got stale donuts and yelling at our suppliers only helped for maybe 3 days of orders when we had to order donuts daily
-standing up all day for terrible pay

    Advice to Management

either give locations enough money to where they can budget for renovations as needed, especially if you're going to start taking away sections of the store since you're losing money from them, and have several managers working at each location instead of one since you cant manage to keep one there for long

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time

    Pros

    Not many pros to mention.

    Cons

Everyone working there clearly hates their job. The management hate their jobs and don't know how to maintain morale or make employees stick around. Six hour closing shifts would turn into ten hour shifts regularly, working from 3 PM until sometimes 1 in the morning because the closing shifts have too many tasks to complete--and if they're completed shoddily because of time constraints, you get yelled at. You get reprimanded for staying past the end of your shift and for not getting everything done.
There are no breaks to speak of if the shop is understaffed, and expect to be on your feet dealing with needy customers the entire time.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with other managers and treat your staff with any level of respect so they don't quit!

No advice the managers were great it was the district who had most of the confrontation with the workers but she doesn't come in that often
