I have been working at Kum & Go full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very high paced job, and decent pay compared to industry standards. If you can meet and exceed expectations promotions are abound. If your careerpath is aimed to move into a corporate retail world then stop right here. Benefits in health, vision and dental for any employee part or full time after 1 year of service. Other benefits match the industry standard of shift discount, holiday pay 401k.

    Cons

Those that arent the right fit will not be told so, you will be tossed aside and left passed up for every opportunity until you figure out whats going on. Benefits are nice but if they really cared they would make them more affordable. Bonus structure is out of touch with reality and benefits only the general manager level and up.

    Advice to Management

Dont offer full benefits to employees who cant afford to pay for them. If you really want success then show some transparency, especially in hiring and retention areas. You preach teamwork yet the system in place forces management to run the stores themselves and get unbudgeted support from part time associates begging and crying for hours that arent there for them thanks to labor hours aimed more for fattening corporate wallets than providing a real job for associates and the best experience for the customer.
