I have been working at Kurt Geiger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Up to 4 pairs of free uniform shoes per year
    - 50% discount on full price stock
    - Monthly Team Bonus (if you hit your targets)
    - 3 month initial Brand Ambassador program followed by monthly team training sessions
    - Flexible Working Scheme
    - Pension Scheme
    - L2, 3, and 4 Retail Apprenticeships (taught by 3rd party)
    - Options to progress within the business
    - FOKO app (interactive comms. tool)

    Cons

    - Managers expected to work EVERY Saturday and required to request holiday if you want one off
    - Salaries tend to be in line with the rest of the market but you won't receive additional income if you undertake more work than outlined in your job description. (For example, supporting other branches on a regular basis)
    - Young managers seem to be hired who have the passion and drive but lack experience
    - There is too much weight behind Guest Shops. Although excellent customer service is key within retail a "bad" score does not equate bad service

    Advice to Management

    - Allow managers to have the 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month off. They will be more likely to work Friday-Sunday pay-day weekends with no issue
    - Offer Compensation Pay for managers who undertake extra work on a frequent and regular basis
    - Stop employing inexperienced managers who will likely buckle under pressure
    - Implement alternative methods to gauge customer service performance, in addition to Guest Shops, to give an overall rating OR re-evaluate the current criteria so it is less overwhelming and easier to absorb

I have been working at Kurt Geiger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have worked for the company just over 2 year, by far the best 2 years I have experienced in my time in retail, my area manager is extremely supportive and a great role model, from taking me on in the company originally to letting me travel to other stores to support and build my experience She has been a great support i always feel challenged and driven, the company recognises amazing staff and rewards it, incentives free shoes etc. I have been given so many opportunities to grow and develop while I have been here. My area/store group is so friendly and supportive always helping each other out and communicating, makes such a difference, it also offers great training tools to team members to develop there skills and become brand ambassadors all my staff love the company and are always looking for ways they can better them selves! The discount is also an amazing benefit

    Cons

Working in a host store can be a con not on KG's park however with communication it is easy to make it run smoothly and every day is an enjoyment

    Advice to Management

Keep offering the amazing guidance and support we receive at the moment the training meetings are so helpful and a great way to build together as a team/are
