A handful of good people who are smart, do good work, and actually care about the profession and other people. Too few though.

Cons

Internal Politics is a huge problem. Infighting between offices and departments is rampant. Management has been repeatedly informed of the problems for over a decade. They refuse to acknowledge it or do anything about it. Pay is below market rate and stagnant. Little to no opportunity for growth and development. Most everyone is miserable, but they "put on a happy face." Everyone, top-to-bottom, hides truth. Management often says "the right thing" what people want to hear, but then does the opposite. Top performers are treated differently than everyone else. Management permits abhorrent behavior from high-revenue generators that is not tolerated from the rank and file. National staff is "untouchable" and Management refuses to hear or act on any criticisms. Dishonesty, deception, and the almighty dollar are valued most highly, despite "mission statements" and "core values" claiming otherwise.
