"Pure misery, & misery loves company. They preach inclusiveness, yet turn a blind eye to inept management and bullying."

    Pros

The pay is decent, and there is not a whole lot more to say concerning good qualities that this firm possesses.

    Cons

Inept management, echo chamber of negativity, reviews given on personality not job performance, Lack of awareness from attorneys and management, No communication on job performance. Clear social divide between attorneys and staff.

    Advice to Management

Hire a consulting firm to ditch the good ol' boy mentality and step into the 21st century.

I have been working at Kutak Rock full-time

    Pros

It is such a great place to work! I left thinking the grass was greener on the other side, what I actually found was that I was spoiled at Kutak Rock. The genuine concern for employees is amazing, from Affinity Groups to gestures of appreciation.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons, that you won't find anywhere else.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Cons

There is not much to complain about...it's a great firm with lots of opportunities and friendly attorneys.

I worked at Kutak Rock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Denver office was better than most law firms. Collegial environment generally.

    Cons

The Omaha office is a bit less friendly.

    Pros

Lots of perks for staff and no big egos - yelling or screaming

    Cons

    Bad pay
After two years here I was placed (I had no say in it) in a positions that had very high turnover. No one really understood why until it was my turn. Horrible experience. No way to get all the work done, no support. I became physically ill - lost 40 lbs from stress. Had to leave

I have been working at Kutak Rock full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The membership all the way up to the chairman of the firm are friendly and personable. When you have as many employees as Kutak Rock, you are always going to find that one person. But that's anywhere. Having worked at a few other major companies, I can tell you that the salaries and benefits at Kutak Rock are top notch

    Cons

I don't see any CONs. The few people that have mentioned that the technology needs to be up to date apparently know nothing about technology or they mean that the employees need to be up to date on technology. Kutak Rock has been on cutting edge technology for years. So when you make comments about it being bad, at least say what's bad about it.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. People that haven't been on the other side of the fence, always think the grass is greener.
