I worked at López Negrete full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I learned a lot at LNC. Their team is strong and analytical. It was never boring, and we had fun. Liked the cool building environment and the occasional happy hours. Felt like family in some ways.

    Cons

They had a bad year, and they're working out what they're going to look like in the age of technology. Moving away from broadcast to tech-connected media is going to be hard for everybody, but these guys see the challenges. Just need some fine-tuning. Holiday hours aren't good - they should close for Christmas week like everybody else.

I worked at López Negrete full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The management team is accessible.

    Cons

I worked here over a decade ago and it was a terrible experience not because of anything Alex & the Management team did. Mainly because the people they trusted under them were poisoning new onboarding employees. I remember during my first week I was being told so many awful stories about Alex and his family and how they run the agency. I trusted his person because Alex trusted that person. I don't believe she's there anymore but it was an unfortunate that I bought into their deception. That experience soured me from ever working at another Hispanic agency.

  3. "A passionate, committed multicultural agency."

I worked at López Negrete full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

LNC retains a family spirit within the A-list multicultural marketing world. The passion for innovation and great branding are palpable in their work.

    Cons

The internal decision/approval process can be cumbersome and, at times, hinder the creative product. Sometimes the upper management input is given after a considerable amount of man-hours have been spent.

    Pros

    - The offices - The people - The culture the company offers an environment that fosters collaboration, and project management processes are superb. Since it is an advertising agency, long hours are expected, but the campaigns are amazing, and there's great camaraderie and amazing talented people to grow alongside with.

    Cons

    - that i didn't work for them longer - there needs to be better budget management

I worked at López Negrete full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    None. It is a slave-driven sweat-shop.

    Cons

Management that does not have a clue about advertising. It's all based on brown nosing and being drinking buddies of the owners. Talent and hard work is not rewarded. Stay away from this hell-hole!

I worked at López Negrete full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people to work with. There are some truly talented and passionate people at LNC. Good brands for the resume.

    Cons

There is a serious disconnect between different departments. Career growth within the agency is almost non-existent. Lack of communication and the account team buckling under the client's pressure makes lives hell for other departments and leads to long hours, weekends and holidays. Favoritism also plays a key.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at López Negrete full-time

    Pros

Possibility of fun projects for big clients and they attempt sometimes to be creative. A few actually get to be creative every now and then.

    Cons

It independent meaning it is subject to the mistakes of an ownership that does not change, ever.
