I worked at L Brands full-time for less than a year

      Pros

free dinners, Recently renovated employee break areas,

      Cons

Stand for 10 hours a day or more. Break areas just as loud as floor, Nothing to read or do on breaks other then stare at walls and people break into high school like cliques. Training classes were held on a sectioned off area of the warehouse floor, which meant it was already too loud to clearly hear what the trainers were saying. On top of this the trainers spoke bad English (some better then others) as they were born...

      Advice to Management

read the cons section above. Training classes on the floor don't work. Yes, they might get people used to that environment, but it would have been better to hold them in the upstairs corporate part of the building where it was quiet and where the first part of the training was held. I understand for what seems like the majority of your warehouse employees English is their second language, but this much confusion was the...

I worked at L Brands for more than a year

      Pros

During peak season you will make alot of money. And it is a clean enviroment.

      Cons

After 6 months they transfer you to Acloche,a temp service they use. And then Acloche will call you up one day and say you no longer work there. If you are a white middle aged male you will be discriminated against by Limited. They are only focused on hiring and promoting immigrants and minorities.

      Advice to Management

When you see someone with a good work ethic, keep them, promote them. Do not use them to do the work of the non productive employees.

I have been working at L Brands

      Pros

The perks (benefits, company outings, discounts etc) are pretty great. Depending on the shift, you'll work with some great people too.

      Cons

You'd better be content with the title you were hired for, because unless your superior really likes you, you will not be moving up no matter how hard you work. The culture leaves a lot to be desired in other aspects too. Providing a tax break is worth more than hard work, and management is pulled from recent college graduates.

      Advice to Management

Live up to the Limited Way, instead of just barely giving it lip service. Honor the standards set forth in reviews for everyone, and develop talent in those who put forth honest effort.
