I worked at L'Occitane (More than 3 years)

    Pros

L'OCCITANE is a beautiful brand, with an incredible team of dedicated people working at the factory, local and middle levels. The values of the brand - respect, traceability - flow through to day to day life. The quality of the products stand up to the test of time, and that makes it easy to be proud to say you work there.

    Cons

Management is a mess. Leaders change teams and regions so quickly, it's like Game of Thrones. Nepotism wins out too often over experience, which results in large teams of people who feel lost or aimless or like they are smarter than their manager (and often are) - and feel under appreciated for the long hours they put in to bring campaigns to life.

    Advice to Management

Don't let your best people go -- the revolving door of middle and upper management in the last few years will continue if you don't show more appreciation for the little tasks that happen every day to make L'OCCITANE the winning brand it appears to be.
