    Neutral Outlook

    I worked at L.S. Caldwell & Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

very small bonuses at end of year

    Cons

Executive Management does not know how to manage. Decisions are always made by the seat of the pants. Executive Management does not come into the office until after 1:00pm on a regular basis. Employees are not recognized for performance. Employees are berated on a regular basis. Executive management calls staff meetings on friday afternoons and usually end up eating and drinking in front of staff as meeting progresses. Un-professional work environment. Employees are routinely blamed for mistakes of the executive management. Employees are not trusted and are routinely called liars. This place is an employer of last resort.

    Advice to Management

    Retire.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at L.S. Caldwell & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

some coworkers are nice, ceo can be empathetic to employee needs/situation, ceo means well, opportunity to network

    Cons

some coworkers are quick to throw another coworker under the bus instead of accepting responsibility, mediocre work product, ceo is a bully and needs to reevaluate how she conducts business, no opportunities for training, abruptly making changes without fully discussing with employees, failure to give raises where raises are due, revolving door for employees. high employee attrition rate, expensive insurance

    Advice to Management

provide training opportunities to become more well versed in job, address employees with respect, give employees the opportunity to show their worth before passing judgment, compensate-compensate-compensate. you cannot expect an employee to pour themselves into your company without proper compensation. everyone should be able to live comfortably.

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at L.S. Caldwell & Associates full-time

    Pros

My direct supervisor was pleasant to work with.

    Cons

This company is a complete disappointment. They suck you in with talk of company excellance and bogus stats. They do not have a HR department, just the upper management making knee jerk decisionson on a daily basis. The company's owner/operator, who prides herself on black pride and professionalism is nothing more than a bully

    Advice to Management

Enroll in a course "how to manage staff effectively " .
