I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are starting out and ok with very low pay for many, many years, this place may work out for you. But get out, once you have learned something.

    Cons

They will outsource the jobs to India at the first opportunity. They pay very low or zero bonus. Reviews are a sham. They promote only folks who are brought in from India. Very little diversity. They need to become more professional in their management and services to client because of influx of folks from India who do have not adapted to the western corporate environment. Never cares about employees issues and troubles. lack of projects. Did I say they also pay cheap?

    Advice to Management

    Fix the cons above.

I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Medium sized company so good opportunities come across with less experience.

    Cons

Miserable compensation. No defined policies. Treat junior level employee as labor. Bond with every benefit so you are bound to serve otherwise you will loose experience letter.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting bond with everything. This makes employee think that they are bonded labor hence they will not work with full energy and dedication.

    "Discrimination"

    Star Star Star Star Star

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Not a good option to work while you plan to save something after coming to onsite, despite of all efforts and sacrifices made, they still want to suck the last drop of blood from you

    Cons

It's ridiculous while working onsite as you are treated as a slave and threat are repeated to send u back to India, this is always a key word to keep you silent and make you work more. Managers do not know anything of your work and you still are rated poor and justifications provided are as if they have been liking managements feet for your stay at onsite. Asking for a hike is like asking them their personal stuff for your use. Appraisal discussions never are given importance,

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees, motivation for us is by only concentrating on work and regular apprication from management though hike is the primary focus which may not be given importance.

I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good SAP BASIS competency and technical skills
    Good to start career
    Consultant are very helpful

    Cons

    1. Very few us clients
    2. This is totally political and unethical env where i worked at
    3. Need leaders and not bosses or dictators
    4. Managers never set expectation , lead and guide consultant that direction but always blame on consultant
    5. Seen some of very unethical leaders and manager who can be very good techically in the area they working at howver have bad attitude which made them dictator

    6. It does not seem most of them ever heard " work life balance "
    7. You have to struggle to get even compoff approved ,forget about your 12 yearly leaves
    8. Most of the the leader here have prophaganda -
    - never talk positive overall
    - blame consultant for whatever they do
    - do not take overall responsibility but start blame game from day one
    - if you are new joinee, they will make sure to scold n talk in such a way that you will loose your half confidence
    - even if no proper kt and Onboarding done , ( by the way nobody bothers much as on this piece except your login ID created ) expect you to know all process in first few days or very few month and if you do not or ask for help then thats the perpective set about you for lifetime and you never get chance if you are not from "yes sir " culture
    - bureaucracy is very important than actual work

You are gobe forget " no body is perfect " because every one here is world class despite they worked only at this company for many years
    9. Still if you decide to join .... Cograts, best luck n follow :-
    Learn desi politics
Learn " yes sir " attitude
Always show confidece on any topic of world
    Listen and forget attitude
Do not believe on anyone untill you know them very well - IMP !!!!!!!!
Be ready to be out of work or project without any discussion
Learn municipalities job attitudes and customs
Get ready to live in negative , angry circumstances every day

    Advice to Management

These experiences more or less are also been discussed and shared by many fellow colleagues at same SAP account
Not sure if company has overall same culture or so called leaders at location are so called world class professional
