I worked at L&T Infotech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Onboarding process was smooth, Good support from Offshore Management, Attention to Employee is good, Very good handling of immigration related necessities

    Cons

Salary Given to Living City expenses is poor match - if you are staying in a non expensive city then it works out but staying in a expensive city with family is a challenge
Employee Career progression and encouragement should be another area to look upon

    Advice to Management

Really need to invest in building niche skill set to grow in current condition

I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best staff augmentation, you will be safe hands till need by customer. As main principal MES/ IIOT practice works is augmenting staff with exact skill sets required by customer.

    Cons

    1. False commitments
    2. No org structure
    3. No delegation from senior folks to keep team engaged
    4. No fixed plan for resource onboarding
    5. Preferred communication is verbal and no response for emails till you actually follow up by call
    6. Person driven organization and not policy driven
    7. Information sharing is biggest challenge; most of the things are hidden
    8. If it is MES / IIOT horizontal practice no point in joining it comes with by default all above mentioned characteristics with no work and extra frustration lead to lose work life balance & focus towards your career

    Pros

    Nothing much to say.

    Cons

Never fall for a fulltime employee status. These people don't have a capability or a capacity to retain employee without a project or a client billing for a single day. HR treat employees as use and throw resources. Don't make your career waste with this service company. Beware about your next move. BEWARE.

    Advice to Management

You have don't have any idea about hiring a US resource and making them to retain. Don't treat everyone with your Indian service company mindset.
