    I worked at L&T Technology Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Health insurance coverage is very good.

    Flexibility on hours was good.

    Cons

    Success is never good enough.

    Workload is way too high keeping you from your family.

    No 401k match.

    No tiered vacation.

    No plan for bench strength in a services organization but high expectations for growth. Could not mobilize fast enough to meet customer needs.

    Do not appreciate or award people for hard work and extra effort.

    Driven by metrics for right now without a long term plan or strategy.

    Attrition is high and talent is constantly leaving.

    Do not replace roles where people have left which puts more work on already strained teams.

    Advice to Management

    Understand that your people are your most valuable resource and do what it takes to retain good talent.

    Pros

    Good opportunity to work on good technologies especially if you are less experienced.

    Cons

    Stunted career path once you are a senior engineer.
    The pyramid ratio is inverted more people on top mgmt so less potential for career growth.
    Poor and old HR policies which needs change.
    Compensations paid is the lowest as per market standards. This is the main reason for high attrition rate !!
    Showing YoY profit does not mean pay less to employees.

    Advice to Management

    Make HR policies more employee friendly.

    Pros

    Tried Hard for a while, still could not find. So sorry.

    Cons

    There are plenty, few of them are;

    1. Salary : Minimum as per Government regulations. "Increment" is totally new word .
    2. Policy : Designed to Exploit employees from different view points, such as, Financially (With minimum salary), Mentally (Must show that you are cool under any torturing condition by your boss) and Socially (You have to be at work for longer hours).
    3. Equal opportunity employment : This is not even a criteria for any employee.

     There are many more, and will share in my next review.

    Advice to Management

    There are employees working in your company, which are human, not only resources.
      Management leaders should focus on business and employees and not try to be like a political leader.
      Not only share holders, but employees also contribute to growth of business and company.
     In my opinion, If you take care of your "EMPLOYEES", they will take a better care of our Customers.

    Good company for onsite engineers. You will be Front face for client with lots responsibilities on shoulder.

    Cons

    Sometimes middle management is less effective in decision making.

    Improve investment in new technologies.
