I have been working at LA Quinta full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're willing to work, there are unlimited opportunities.
You can start as a housekeeper and work your way through the organization be it Corporate or Franchise, and if you hit a ceiling at your location, you can join the corporate team if you have the appropriate qualifications.
The people are amazing. I have never asked for help and not received it. If someone doesn't know the answer, they'll hook you up with someone who does. The support system for both Franchise and Corporate locations is fantastic, there is always someone there to help with questions or training.

    Cons

This isn't an industry to get rich until you're in upper management/ownership. Many franchises and smaller locations do not offer much in the way of benefits.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to offer benefits.

I worked at LA Quinta part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pros of working at this place are that you get to properly greet customers and at times become friends with them therefore creating an environment where customers and stuff feel like a family.

    Cons

At times it can get challenging dealing between calls and the line of customers checking in. In addition, at night it can get a little dangerous because usually you don't know who to expect coming in the hotel at night.
