I worked at LBM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

just the money, people are nice

    Cons

staff turnover, no windows in broadheath site, like a chicken pen, 200 people in one room, have to sign time for toilet, when you come back from toilet the manager asks where you were.

    Advice to Management

    be more flexible

    Negative Outlook

I worked at LBM full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

When your shift ended your shift ended

    Cons

There's too many to list but here are the mains.
    - miss selling to elderly and vulnerable
    - encouraging lies and twisting words to sell products.
    - drugs (all kinds) being sold by staff
    - next to impossible to get bonuses unless you lie and cheat
    - any sign of illness, medical conditions or injury is met with sacking, disciplinarys and scrutiny
    - management are disgusting, vain, hypocrital and condescending people

    Advice to Management

Close the company down and build from scratch. I wouldn't work there for 100,000 a year, the moral compass of your company is broken and you should be shut down immediately

I worked at LBM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is that it is an actual job

    Cons

poor pay, bonus' taken away for the slightest thing, pushy management who encourage miss selling, some UN-professional co workers. There was even instances of colleagues who sold drugs during the two 15 minute breaks and lunch breaks.

    Stop trying to con people

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at LBM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people I met there are still friends, you will meet a lot of people so some of them are bound to be good.

    Cons

They will constantly find ways to both push you to sell dishonestly and change their assessment criteria to deny the majority of people any monthly bonus. Those 'performing best' were lying through their teeth to customers and those selling honestly and hitting their targets would be picked up on the smallest thing to deny any bonus payout for any single mistake in any call. As an outsourcing company they still get the contract bonus for performance, they just refuse to pass it on to employees.

    Advice to Management

Teach staff to sell honestly, managers constantly push different underhand tactics to maximise number of staff deals then the next month that tactic will be flagged as unacceptable so they will devise a new one.
