I have been working at LG Display full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The competitiveness of this company is its advance technology in mid - large size of panel making in LCD display industry.

    Cons

The managers focus too much on the hierarchy than employee development. The company culture does not welcome employees to challenge the current process. It takes forever to get the decision making process done. If you are not familiar with Korean Business, you will easily go crazy by too much and too detail preparation on the managers request.
The office infrastructure of oversea subsidiary is unbelievable out of date.

    Advice to Management

Please understand that not all of you employee are Korean.

I worked at LG Display full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked at LG display plant in Korea.
You will get stronger during working period due to hard works and abuse.
One of a best company in Korea in terms of salary and welfare.

    Cons

I worked at the plant of LG display in Korea.
As far as I know, atmosphere in any other departments without relation with plants are different with plants.

Some directors or managers in plants tend to abuse their staffs without hesiration.
In case of my colleague, his boss threw his note to staffs because he could not satisfy the ability of his staffs.
In my case, my bosses hit my head and kicked my chair, although I sit on there.
One person who have a high office said this comment to new incoming employees,
"A half of my salary is based on the curse, I will say to you."
Another person who have a high rank frequently said curse to his staffs, including managers.

    Advice to Management

One of men written on 'Cons' section becomes a executive. Find him, if you can.
Some executives came from factories should not blame current directors and managers due to these bad habits of them. Because, they learned these bad habits from you while you worked as managers and directors in plants.
Maybe people, who became a section chief within a few years, will be directors or managers, these bad habits will change.

lots to gain experience in your field for high demand and expectation from management.
will get exposed to operation in wide range of inter-company transactions.
    friendly and family like co-workers.

    Cons

most employees seems to be dissatisfied with their work and especially with their head management levels. Dreadfully, irrationally strong hierarchy. Command skills and people management skills can never be found. They should have at least some respect with their people.

    Advice to Management

They won't take things like advice or feedback.

It is losing its competition in the past and giving way to China company. Work conditions are very touch and long working time is quite sure in the company.

    Advice to Management

Many competitive and proactive members are quitting the job or intended to do. Company should know this crisis that will come true very soon.
