    I have been working at LG Electronics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    LGE is big company, so you don't need to worry about being get fired. You can participate big project like developing Smartphone.

    Cons

    Salery isn't that good, comparing with Samsung. Also, LG smartphone hasn't been sold enough so it is hard to feel proud. In LGE HQ, you might have to work late everyday, like until 10 P.M.

    Advice to Management

    Almost every managers in LGE do not want to take any risk. You could not expect them to hear or even consider your opinion.

    Pros

    The company makes excellent product that sells itself. It has great partnerships and is set up to do well.

    Cons

    Poor people management, office culture is not respectful, no concept of work life balance. Toxic environment from the top down. You are okay if you are in a position where your manager can protect you from internal politics

    Advice to Management

    Show appreciation to your employees. Build unified teams. Reward hard work. Be fair to employees on their own time. Be aware of Canadian work culture and employment laws.

    You can have many chances to contribute and get promoted if you work hard.

    Cons

    Some organization is too strict to accept new trends of management and technology.
    sometimes, decision making is too slow, thus losing good business opportunities.

    hiring some new VP for Mobile Communication from outside of company who have technical and business insight and will bring fresh air to the old organization
