I have been working at LG Mobile Phones (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to work a significant amount of overtime and make however many hours you are willing to put in

    Cons

The company does not care about your personal life. Company constantly asks to stay late hours and weekends, and even holidays at times. Work done at the company is reiterative and very inefficient. Company hierarchy is very strict as most upper management are ex-pats from Korea.
Career growth is non-existent almost without a significant amount of time before a promotion.

    Pros

They have a lot of competent, diligent people. You can learn how this big-sized global manufacturer works and how to strategically package your thoughts and logics to deliver them to the managing level. You should cope with a lot of issues from marketing, SW, HW, shipping, sales, and all. Which means you can broaden your perspective and learn a lot.

    Cons

Work-and-life balance is one of the poorest. They are used to working for a long time. You'll find yourself staying up at 3 am, folding up your sleeves, with sleepy eyes, exhausted.

    Advice to Management

Think about the big plan first. If you keep trying to follow others, you will be always busy to catch up with others. Be yourself.

I worked at LG Mobile Phones full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great products good decent salary with good bonuses and company benefits like 7 days annual leave.

    Cons

Practically no culture, just Agriculture, with Indian Mobile leadership and its HO team that is clueless to how to sell mobiles in one of the world's biggest market.scant respect of its employees.Just passing on its failure on people's sitting in Branches.
They lack Market knowledge and conviction just passing the buck.

    Advice to Management

1.Company is having good products but Indian team sitting in HO are useless in.

    Motivation
    Conviction
    Market knowledge
    Laid back attitude

Only good at giving presentations from the GFK reports.

2.Wasting lots of money by keeping R.Ds
It should be either having RD structure or Lg employees .
(and not both as can be seen from competition but Indian HO team will not give the correct information to Indian Korean team)

Just putting Dust in the Korean Management,s eyes
