Cons
Nothing that comes to mind.

Pros
LHT is one of the best companies I've worked for. Extremely hard working, talent individuals that know how to get things done. Great culture of innovation and fun group.
Cons
Standard growing pains of a company, but overall no cons.

Pros
Friendly staff, some smart people working here
Cons
Consultants are not treated well here. You are dumped into a project with little to no background and the project management is questionable. Serious lack of diversity as well, which made me uncomfortable.

A solid company
Apr 14, 2020 - ELearning Developer in Columbus, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
A very tight-knit team with little employee turnover, LHT has been undergoing deliberately controlled growth with consistent profit. The leadership has made it known that they don't want a 1,000-person team overnight. The team that's already present is extremely capable, and there's a culture of going above and beyond for clients, frequently winning industry awards and pushing the envelope as far as the clients will let us. While gradually transitioning from a small 'boss and everyone else' team to what I would describe as a three-tiered company (most people report to team leaders who report to core leadership), they've strived (generally successfully) to keep work-life balance a focus and double down on other company values as well. There is no set PTO policy as long as you generally make sure work gets done, and of course working remotely provides added flexibility. Strong emphasis on communication helps ensure that negative work circumstances like overtime or neglected project requirements are rare. Leadership is responding and adapting to crisis (COVID-19) very well compared to other companies I have heard of, identifying new opportunities to pursue.
Cons
No medical (or any other type of) insurance offered despite it having been considered multiple times over the years. Besides the open-ended PTO policy, the only benefit offered is a 401k. Also, there were no raises last year (company-wide, I'm told) as the company significantly grows its sales and online presence.

Great Company—Friendly, Hard-Working Community
Jun 4, 2020 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This company is full of hard-working people who are passionate about what they do, and are open to new ideas and improving the eLearning space with innovative and beautiful work. Although remotely operated, everyone within the company is a strong communicator, and makes sure each team member is understanding of whatever project they're working on (and whatever problem there is to be addressed). As someone who has worked with LHT for around 18 months, I can say in that time I've become well-integrated into the community and feel my work and ideas are being taken seriously. Everyone at LHT puts in top effort, and will pitch in help for any project when needed to achieve the excellence their work is recognized for. Leadership is also quite open and honest with all employees, which helps create transparency and a strong sense of trust. Other benefits: 401-K matching, relaxed PTO and vacation policy, flexible schedule
Cons
LHT has no health benefits, and hasn't seemed to be issuing raises (LHT has been experiencing much growth within the past 2-3 years, so I see some of these things changing)

Amazing and hardworking team
Sep 10, 2019 - Developer in Columbus, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Hardworking and amazing people always willing to help out. No job is underneath someone - Great work life balance, take time off when you need it. Fully remote team - Management seeks out pain points of our processes and actively improves them - Courses developed are fun and engaging and instructional designers are consistently trying to always keep it fresh and new
Cons
- Because the company is still quite small in terms of full time employees, there's no healthcare benefits

One of the Best Teams in the Learning Marketplace!
Sep 11, 2019 - Learning Project Manager in Cypress, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Commitment learning excellence and customer service - Values relationships and people above status and profit margin - Promotes flexibility and freedom without compromising commitment to client requirements and standards of excellence
Cons
- Problems and issues come up that more mature processes and standards could mitigate - Competes in a marketplace where glitz and fads drive down the value of quality performance improvement and learning excellence that promotes legitimate client success
- Current Contractor, more than 1 year★★★★★
Really nice people doing quality eLearning development
Sep 24, 2019 - Marketing Specialist in Asheville, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
High-integrity company Nice people, good work-life balance Not a sweat shot, like many elearning development companies Extremely talented team, from designers to writers to instructional designers Happy customers who keep coming back
Cons
A relatively small company with around 30 employees, but by design, which I really like. They are a lot more focused on doing quality work for the right types of clients. Don't have a big sales and marketing team.

They care about their clients, the quality of their products and services, are always attempting to improve, and care about their employees and contractors.

No cons specific to LHT Learning. The only cons are the standard challenges of the industry which they always strive to address.
