Not Family oriented like most credit unions

Very few, need to appreciate employees and know how to have fun. So focused on chasing the $$$
Cons
Management does not help during busy times, feel they are above employees. Hound employees to do more with little to no help. Expectations for cross selling are unrealistic and more of a bank mentality. Don't know any credit union that cold calls members

This is why we feel we have a number of long-term employees who have been with LOC for more than 10 years, and several who have recently retired after a long career with us. The team at LOC also strives to help our members get financially fit. Part of this is recommending solutions that best meet a member’s need in order to help save them money and reduce their outstanding debt. It’s our management team’s responsibility to ensure, through coaching, that our front-line employees are asking our members for the business. It’s crucial to our success as a credit union.
