Pros
Treats their employees well, offers great benefits and compensation, feels like a family
Cons
As a manager, the system we have to use for yearly review is a bit complex and can be simplified.

Pros
LONG has been and continues to be the best company I have ever worked for. The management has gone above and beyond for me throughout my career here to work with my life situations and be flexible no matter what position I have held. I have never worked for an organization of this size that is as accommodating as LONG has been. I truly feel as though LONG cares about me as a person and my family. I love working for this company and plan to retire here. Thank you, LONG!!
Cons
The health benefits (especially coverage outside of CO) and the percentage of health care premiums paid by the company could both be significantly better. Otherwise, no cons!

Pros
Been with the company for less than 1 year and have had such a wonderful experience. They have such a wonderful employee appreciation program. They support their employees where they are and help them grow personally and professionally. While working here you can see career growth and opportunities. The culture is great you truly feel like you a part of a big family. Everyone is there to support you throughout your time here. As a woman working here, I feel included and that I have a seat at the table. Working here within the HVAC/ Construction industry has been such a positive experience.
Cons
Not currently at this time.

Not much drama at LONG
Cons
A lack of training to help with your position

Pros
Take vehicle home each night. Other Techs are mostly all good people.
Cons
Lots of retirement homes where they do work in peoples units. Sales associates aren't held accountable for their inability to understand customers needs.

Pros
Company truly cares about employees and treats them like family. They make me feel special and I feel my work is meaningful. I get the training and support to do my job well. I can't imagine working for anyone else.
Cons
The company is growing like crazy and has lots of opportunities for quality people. We need more good people!

Pros
Pay is good and optimism is high when you arrive. Three original techs who are still here will give you: food at Seahawks games , technical advice, or a lighter when you get stressed/start chain-smoking, respectively. They may also give you crippling depression if you get them to provide an honest asessment.
Cons
Optimism fades once you realize the extent of institutional issues. Pay tied to profit is nonexistent. Engineering is nonexistent. VP and GM only hire out-of-touch boomers who run off skilled technicians. VP and GM creep on females in office running off admin. staff. You won't receive severance after mgmt. runs you off due to no technicians. HR only exists for laughabe "Longboarding" process and

Pros
Great company, truly committed to communities and co-workers.
Cons
None that I can think of right now.

Pros
Benefits and pay are nice People in Denver area offices are nice
Cons
Bait and switch company. Vague job descriptions, end up doing work that is nothing like what you were told. Skirt around communication and give vague answers. I often felt like I was told what I wanted to hear, even if it wasn’t the reality of the situation. I relocated my family for this position and crashed and burned. Management is nice/good people, but terrible at running a business. Some people are very inappropriate to younger people and to women. Overall disappointing. I wish I had thought this through more instead of being blindsided by the great salary and benefits.

Cool parties I guess. Profit sharing is nice.
Cons
Toxic environment, over works and underpays people. Expects you to be a robot and constantly turn over work.
