    Pros

The salary was good. flexible time. Sometimes the works are interesting. People are general nice over there. stock purchase and stock option are nice.

    Cons

The company was poorly managed. They miscalculated the market and made products that were either late or do not meet customer requirement. They have lay off all the time, sometimes twice a year. Don't have any job security.

    Advice to Management

Find better people in marketing. Due to too many layoffs and usually the workers go first, there are too many managers and not enough workers. Get rip off some the managers.

    I worked at LSI full-time

    Pros

Flexible working at LSI. Always great to go above and beyond your job requirements. People were friendly to work with.

    Cons

Minimum downtime. Just like any other companies. Work more than usual to get the projects done on time. Still a good place to work at.

    Advice to Management

Managers were good working together to achieve the product deliveries on time and met quality requirements. One on one biweekly meeting to talk about status.

    I worked at LSI full-time

    Pros

LSI offers excellent health benefit. Cafeteria offers healthy food for lunch and snack and the people who work there are friendly. The LSI building complex is new and beautiful. The gym is clean and has all new equipments.

    Cons

The stock price is too low for all the great products LSI is designing, developing, and selling to big OEMs. The parking lot is a bit small for the size of the company.

    Advice to Management

Recommend executive management to do some research to find out why the stock price is low and what they will need to do to raise the stock price.

I have been working at LSI full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very good monetary compensation. That's it.

    Cons

Avago medical worse than LSI's. CEO is all about stock and investors, which is great for monetary compensation, but they don't care about people as individuals. They drop people for a little more profit. 40% OM? If they don't hit it they lay off? Really? They kill all telecommuting employees, no matter how good they are. If you're a person, don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Give a crap about people. They're people. What you do to them will happen to you. Do you get that?
