I have been working at LTI Trucking Services full-time

    Pros

The executives genuinely care about the well being of all their employees and drivers; lots of nice coworkers and drivers; good pay; I like working downtown

    Cons

As with many companies, work can get pretty hectic sometimes with deadlines, volume, etc.

I have been working at LTI Trucking Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some nice people in the office. Sometimes get pizza ordered on very busy Fridays, maybe once a month of so. Free breakfast once a month to celebrate office birthdays.

    Cons

No investment in office workers, no raises, continuously changing bonus structure making it increasingly difficult to obtain. Despite the company trying to portray employees as part of their "family," they are known to toss out good, hard-working employees without hesitation for non-justifiable and non-documented reasons. Further, they will find ways to punish you should you speak out or even confide in management about personal problems.

    Advice to Management

Nepotism is making its way into the organization and needs to be addressed. Come up with a written employee manual for office workers so they know what is generally expected instead of implementing changes through email notifications. Develop a written progressive discipline policy. Invest in all of your employees, not just the drivers and upper management. If you don't think you can afford it, perhaps you should stop trying to grow so much without first consistently meeting your basic performance measures (monthly revenue, turnover, miles).

I worked at LTI Trucking Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None, these are not good people.

    Cons

The company as a whole lacks any professionalism. Their logistics division is a joke and its run by a liar. They talk about how they are one big family, but will throw you out the door and not think twice.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the logistics division, it's not even a real logistics team, just a bunch of people brokering loads. Not to mention they loose money for the company.

I worked at LTI Trucking Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The majority of the employees have big hearts and were fun to work with.

    Cons

Upper Management is in desperate need of training because they are a lawsuit ready to happen. Company doesn't believe in raises or equal promotions. Working atmosphere is draining and depressing.

    Pros

Family owned company. Easy to speak with key management personnel. If you have an issue that you need to get resolved it doesn't take long to get that issue in the right hands.

    Cons

Fast growing company which creates some growing pains. Aggressive growth plans over the next 5 years which will put stress on the employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep employees posted on expectations for them and their teams. Provide feedback on promotions for employees. Yearly reviews would also be helpful.

    Pros

One Safety guy named Leo only person to care about the drivers. The shop guys are really good and they really care.

    Cons

Outside of Leo there are none they are absolutely a bad company to drive for they lie and don't pay the checks like they are supposed to. They have you chasing ghost trailers and communication is a joke.

    Advice to Management

How about a complete over Gainsaver.com .starting with operations manager and the fleet manager. Fire the main Safety officer as he is two faced and will lie about everything instead of being honest.
