I have been working at LV= full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It’s a short commute to work and offers good perks and benefits. The Bournemouth/ Poole offices are nice with good facilities

    Cons

Not a fun place to work anymore, inexperienced managers, full of corporate ‘yes men / women. The executive team are throwing away all that made LV market leading in putting the customer first, not sure if the brand will still be around in 3 years time.
Company is a different place than when I first joined, take the brand away now and it could be any large boring financial corporate company

    Advice to Management

Don’t give up what was good and special about LV for the sake of the bottom line

    Pros

    Nice people
    Work life balance
    Good location

    Cons

    Advice to Management

The life business is old school and has little talent management so please address the gap with GI business. Staff mobility and talent is not made the best use of and lots of stanated staff. Provide more vision from the top.

    Cons

Lots of changes going on at the moment, as with all companies communications can sometimes be mixed. Lack of consistency with procedures etc.

    Pros

Great opportunities to gain experience and move internally. Lovely people and many loyal long standing employees. Great brand which is easy to relate to and creates great culture.

    Cons

Many changes in recent years to senior leadership and strategy has made it hard at times to keep up wirh the direction of the group, although this is probably consistant across the industry.
