    Pros

The experience is bar none. Not toe room that the standards learned here will make you a hero at a smaller company.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement esp since they take months for a new hire.

    Advice to Management

Worked in the Fragrance dept through and agency. The space was compartmental and tight. Boxes and miscellaneous garbage everywhere. The smallest tightest most windowless place in life.
However the stint there taught me so much about marketing and the LVMH standard, which is bar none.
The girls there are super young and dumpy. Far from what you'd expect at a company like this. Most of the staff had zero fashion sense with the exception of the team I worked with.

    Pros

Great place to learn and grow. Company (depending on the department) is still in growth stage making it better for you to cross train with middle management and other departments. Advance is very slow; they are very selective, but very possible if you work hard at getting noticed for your contributions to the team.

    Cons

Most senior managers have egos. They have been with the company for quite some time...perhaps its why they are senior management not necessarily due to talent. Acquired skill and high turn around naturally lead most senior managers to inherit their positions. Now they feel prestigious for having a managerial role. If they would have to reapply for the same position they currently hold, it wouldn't be surprising if most those managers would not be hired to do their current job.

    Advice to Management

Focus on team spirit a bit more.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at LVMH full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working at LVMH you could always count on the perks, discounts and sample sales. This is the one and only reason you would want to work there. Brand recognition.

    Cons

Management is something to be admired, if you like to be pinned one against another, than this is the place for you. There is definitely no "team spirit" at LVMH. It is too bad the luxury and prestige is not synonymous with class.

    Advice to Management

Revolving door, people turnaround in something I have never seen before. Reason being management and the HR department really do not care about their employees.
