Pros
Great relationships with coworkers and children. Possibility for fun. High standards! The building is clean and never breaks licensing requirements. The cameras are nice, provides added protection for children and for teachers.
Cons
LOW PAY. Seriously. I make pennies an hour as a lead and it is not enough to live in Southern California. I can barely make rent in this area off my paycheck alone. They also provide bonus opportunities for teachers that get other teachers hired, but they dont consider to pay their existing teachers more so that we don't even consider leaving in the first place. Also, it is an extremely high stress environment and nearly all of the staff feel extremely anxious when one of the managers is around because she is very abrasive and does not communicate well. It is like a running joke amongst the rest of the staff like "uh oh, here she comes. Wonder which one of us is next. Off with your head!" Definitely not a place I want to work for long. It started out fine but yikes...

Pros
The Castle Rock location is amazing! My coworkers are a team and we're always giving each other encouragement and support. Benefits are super, and the parents and kids are great overall.
Cons
Many rules imposed by the higher-ups are not practical. Often rules are made (such as not being able to use a laminater or watch movies with your kids on Fridays) because other locations abused privileges or hurt themselves for lack of common sense, so the entire company is punished for one location's poor choices.
